The tachometer is invaluable if you want to see how your engine is running. The gauge checks idling, normal running and peak load. Also useful when choosing the right propeller and for the maximum fuel economy. Available in 4000 and 8000 rpm, also has an integrated hour counter. Connects to the generator's W clip, the minus side of the ignition coil on inboard engines or, alternatively, together with Wema's tachometer (150312).
